KLM MD11 goodbye flight, while Martinairs MD11 departs for a regular flight to Uganda

Today KLM will perform several goodbye flights with their last MD11, PH-KCD, over the Netherlands. The first flight started at 10:30, the last one will land on EHAM at 17:00. On November 17th the PH-KCD will depart for its final destination, aircraft cementary in California. Herewith will end an 80 year cooperation between KLM and McDonnell-Douglas. Coincidently, at 11:30 two MD11 were in the air above the Netherlands. The Martinair MD11 PH-MCU, flight number MPH081, departed for a regular flight to Entebbe, Kampala in Uganda, while the PH-KCD was in approach for ILS 18right.
