Classic Wings is making progress on their C-47
Today Classic Wings once again worked on their newest beauty in the fleet: the G-DAKK. She will need a lot of man hours before she can fly again. But once she takes the sky again, you know it worth it!
Currently the ‘DAKK’ is getting her basic checkup at Weeze Airport (DE). Her wings are already located at Classic Wings home base: Teuge Airport (NL).
The G-DAKK is known for her very authentic cockpit layout.
Classic Wings will restore the C-47 back to her original looks as shown in the photo above when she was flying in Operation Varsity for the 538th Carrier Transport Group as 43-23936.
Very Nice ! When do you think you can fly her ?
Hard to tell, the Aviodrome really neglected her and let her outside unprotected against the elements.
