ATCBOX.com is a website with the goal to open up the world of aviation for all those that are interested. Founded by two aviation enthusiasts in 2002, the website has grown to a popular place on the internet where people meet from all over the world.

The team behind ATCBOX.com consist of volunteers from various disciplines such as pilots and IT specialists that all donate their spare time.

ATCBOX.com is a foundation that needs people like you to make a donation to guarantee future activities. Donations are used ONLY to cover costs related to this website. ATCBOX.com has no commercial interest. You can help us guarantee the existence and growth by making a donation. Donating gives you special privileges.

Registration / Account:

To get access to the website you need to open an account. The Registered user is free of charge. We need you to choose your Nickname and fill in your details at the registration page. After registering you will immediately receive an e-mail with an activation link. You have to visit this link within 24 hours to confirm your Account. After that you can login, just type in your Nickname, password and security code (changes every session).

ATCBOX.com provides news in aviation and links to movies, photos and other interesting aviation related websites which can be found on the homepage.

Forum:

There is an active forum where members ask questions that are answered by professionals. This forum is moderated strictly to guarantee the ambiance and professionalism (see forum rulez). If you want to participate as a member in a forum discussion you need to register again with your real details. These details will not be used for commercial purposes, it is just a measure to keep the forum clean of people with wrong intentions.

Photos and Movies:

On ATCBOX.com you'll find thousands of movies and photos, all aviation related. Most of them are contributed by other members. Sensational, thrilling, sometimes funny and sometimes tragic. All facets of aviation. Basic members have limited access to movies and photos.

Audio streams:

As a Registered user you can listen to high quality live radio transmissions around the larger Aerodromes in the Netherlands. Streams are split in Ground, Radar, Approach and Tower. Go and listen for free! Within one hour you are hooked!

Radar streams:

For Goldmembers there are LIVE radar streams. Follow the airplanes on a Radar screen as you listen to the radio transmissions.

Goldmember areas:

For Goldmembers there are more (big) downloads available in the Goldmember areas.

Radar in Google Earth:

Watching planes in Google Earth is fun, in very near future this feature will be introduced.

Webcams:

In the near future we launch Webcams and other cool stuff. These projects will consume a lot of our bandtwith, so we need to ask the future members to make a structural donation to use it.

Merchandise:

We have it all! Once we started selling ATCBOX.com caps, after that a key cord became an option, stickers, gliders and winterhats sale (we make no profit, our profit is that you wear it with great pride). You can find these items and information on our Merchandise page. (temp. not available)

Membercards:

We also provide membercards. With this you can show that you are an ATCBOX.com member and more important; you will get discounts and/or special possibilities (see the various offers on the left: Membercard Profits, just click the logos). (temp. not available)
